Effective Learning through LSRW

Effective Learning through LSRW.

Our brain is made up of gray matter and white matter, well how should this matter? Without getting into the biological facts and definitions, let’s first understand the basics of it. The gray matter is the place in the brain where the actual “processing” (of information, data, and details) is done whereas the white matter is the communication channel between different gray matter areas and also among the gray matter and the rest of the body helping in mind-body coordination and hand-body coordination, response to stimulus and reflexes.

But wait, why are we talking about this when we are here to know about effective learning. Well, learning has to be inculcated as a habit and the good news is that; we all have the ability and the capability to be good learners – effective learners.

One sure-shot way of becoming a more effective learner is to simply keep learning.

We need to focus on the elements of knowing how to learn in the first place – effective learning can build upon thereafter.

The in-born cognitive abilities of humans are good enough to pave a strong foundation for effective and lifelong learning; the ability to observe, listen, speak, read and write (OLSRW) are the fundamental essentials for taking our ability to learn to the next level.

This needs to actively involve each of us in our own learning ways because every individual is different and their learning preference, learning style, learning method is different – learning at their own pace, in their own place, in their own space will lead to effective learning.

Observational Learning, learning through listening, learning through speaking, learning through reading, learning through writing (LSRW) are all necessary essentials to be an effective learner.

As we understand from the points above, learning is a multi-pronged, multi-faceted trait that we all possess – it’s just that we are unaware of the nuances of it.

Take the O-LSRW route for effective learning.
